"I bought this for my fiancée as we already have a real French Bulldog! The lamp is great, solid and stable and captures the look of a Frenchie perfectly. My only negative is that the shade is a bit on the shallow side and would have probably looked better in cream as the china is more bone colour than white. She loves it though, so much so that I think we'll have to get a matching one for the other side of the bed!"

"Great service, ordered online and in the shop for collection within 4 days. It is absolutely delightful, full of character, brought for my daughter for Xmas hopefully she will feel the same (loves bulldogs and pugs)."

"This lamp is very appealing and is excellent value. It compares very favourably with "character" lamps costing much more. Gives out good light. Would definitely recommend!"

"I was very pleased with this lamp - it's unusual and great for dog lovers! I think it's a nice size so it's not overpowering but still makes a statement and it seems to be well made.
My negative comments would be that it is quite expensive for what it is and I didn't think the lampshade was particularly good - it looks cheap. I will have to buy another lampshade adding to the cost but I suppose the neutral colour means you can buy anything to match your decor."

Ella the dog lamp is bella!!
"I fell in love with this lamp the minute I clapped eyes on it; I'm more of a cat person myself but I just couldn't take my eyes off it.
I bought the white 'Ella' for £40.00 in store but as there was a 20% reduction on homewares which made the purchase even sweeter. I have brought it home and given it pride of place in my living room - gets fantastic compliments. Love it, well done Ben and Debenhams!"

"I've been waiting to get my hands on this beauty since viewing it in the Style section of The Sunday Times some months ago. She is excellent. The image does not do the lamp justice and it looks even better when lit. PS I bought this lamp in store and paid £40."

"This lamp looks stunning in any room my little girl had to have this lamp as we breed the french bulldogs so they really are special to us so is the lamp we bought 3 brilliant highly reccomended"
